The demand for renewable energy in Ukraine has been growing in recent years. In the first 10 months of 2021 alone, Ukraine's electricity generation in renewable energy increased by more than 10% year-on-year, reaching 10 billion kWh.

In the renewable energy power generation structure, photovoltaic power generation accounted for 60.4%, ranking first; wind power accounted for 29.8%, ranking second; followed by biomass power generation (7.6%) and hydropower (2.3%) %). By 2035, Ukraine plans to increase the proportion of power generation from renewable energy to 25%, and the market development prospects are considerable.
